Château Lafleur

Château Lafleur stands as one of Pomerol's rarest jewels, a confidential 4.5-hectare estate on the clay-gravel plateau, neighbouring Pétrus. Owned by the Guinaudeau family since 1872, the property produces exceptional wines from equal proportions of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, a unique blend in the appellation. Baptiste and Julie Guinaudeau continue a philosophy of absolute authenticity, driven by pre-phylloxera massale selection vines and an uncompromising approach.

Château Lafleur 2011 is an outstanding Pomerol from a 4.5-hectare estate located opposite Pétrus. Blended from 53% Cabernet Franc and 47% Merlot, this wine stands out for its balance between power and finesse, driven by the distinctive minerality of Pomerol's gravel and clay plateau terroir. Despite challenging climatic conditions, the 2011 vintage showcases the Guinaudeau family's expert stewardship.
