Château Les Grands Chenes

Owned by Bernard Magrez, the 12 ha vineyard is spread over gravel (60%) and clay-limestone soils (40%) near the port of Saint-Christoly, north of Saint-Estèphe. The grape varieties are Merlot (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (45%) and Cabernet Franc (5%). The average age of the vines is 30 years and the planting density is 8,300 vines/ha. In the rows, the practices are traditional and respectful of the environment, with notably a voluntary limitation of chemical inputs. In the cellar, the vinification is parcel by parcel and uses wood, with about half of it new.

Delivery

Delivery is free in mainland France for orders over €300. In addition, we offer the choice between several transport solutions, in France and abroad. We deliver to our customers in more than 50 different countries, within optimized deadlines.

Keep your wine in our cellar

We can house your wines in our conditioned warehouse, located near Bordeaux. Our large storage capacities allow us to offer you preferential rates, as part of a hosting contract. We also offer our foreign customers the possibility of keeping their wines in suspension of duties and taxes (RFSE status) in a partner warehouse located in the Bordeaux suburbs.
